Returns
While we hope that you love your Potion Perfect products, we understand that sometimes you may want to request a return.
Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If it has been 30 days since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. We do not offer refunds for shipping costs.
In order to be eligible for receiving a return, your item(s) must be unused in the same condition in which you received it. If there is packaging, it needs to be in the original packaging.
If any items are perishable (e.g. flowers, food, newspapers, or magazines) they are ineligible for returns or refunds. Additional items that are non-returnable include: gift cards/certificates, downloadable content, and hygienic items.
In order to complete your return, you will need to have your receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your returns to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only a partial refund will be granted: (if applicable)
- Damaged items or those with excessive wear and tear
- Items that are missing parts
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery, with a return merchandise authorization.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also let you know of the approval or rejection of your refund and for what amount. The refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. The amount of time for the refund to appear in your account will vary based on the payment method.
If you believe that you should have already received your refund, please first check the account with which you made the purchase. Please contact your credit card company or whomever is in charge of your account in order to find out when it would be officially posted to your account. If you still haven’t received your refund after doing all of this, please contact us through the contact page.
Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Exchanges are available for items that are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange the item for the same item, please contact us in order to start the exchange process. This will typically include the request for photos of the damaged or defective item. If necessary to have it returned to us, then we will pay for shipping costs of the item and provide you with a mailing slip.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when it was purchased and it was sent directly to you, you will receive a credit for the value of your return. Once the return has been received and accepted, a gift certificate will be mailed or emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was mailed to the gift giver and then given to you at a later date, then the refund will be sent to the gift giver.
Shipping Returns
In order to return your product, please contact us in order to find out about the exchange/refund process for a particular item.
If you are seeking a refund or exchange (with the exception of a replacement of like item for one that was damaged or defective on arrival) then you will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item(s). All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, then the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund.
The time it may take to get your item exchanged or returned will vary depending on where you live and may also include the effects of the weather or other events that our out of our control.
While not required, we recommend that you purchase a trackable shipping service with insurance for your return. We do not guarantee that we will receive your return or that you will receive a return for lost or damaged items in transit.
